Arkema’s Crysell Wins National Award

Arkema’s Axis plant Operations Manager Carla Crysell won a Manufacturing Institute MAKE Award, given to 100 women across the country who work in the manufacturing industry. Crysell grew up in Lottie, Alabama, in northern Baldwin County and graduated from the Alabama School of Math and Science and University of South Alabama with a degree in chemical engineering. She said she remained in the area because she wanted a steady life and a career close to home. She has been working at Arkema since 2004 and, the company says, “risen through the ranks.”
