Thompson Holdings kicks off 2026 with a significant expansion of its technology capabilities through the acquisition of Sourcetoad, a software development company. The acquisition, effective January 1, 2026, reinforces Thompson’s commitment to leverage technology and innovation for the benefit of its operating companies, their clients, and all employees.

Sourcetoad was founded in 2008 and is a nearly 60-person firm headquartered in Tampa, Fla. with additional offices in Australia and the Philippines. It helps clients in several industries including cruise and ferry, financial, architecture, engineering, healthcare, disaster response and construction develop digital solutions.
