Thompson Announces Two Key Hires

Thompson Holdings, Inc. recently announced two key hires: Ryan Baya as General Counsel and Christian Haverkamp as Director of Human Resources & Leadership Development.

A Mobile native, Baya attended Auburn University and law school at the University of Florida. He began his career working for Hand Arendall practicing in Alabama and Florida. Immediately before joining Thompson, Baya was in private practice in Tampa, Fla. for 15 years focused on construction law.

Before joining Thompson, Haverkamp was the Senior HR Partner for the Central Operating Group and International Endeavors at Terracon headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. She will lead company initiatives including innovating the company’s HR processes, recruiting across the company’s growing geographic footprint, and providing leadership development for the company’s next generation of leaders.

Thompson Holdings provides ESOP-related leadership and governance functions, as well as corporate resources and support, for its engineering, architecture, and disaster recovery subsidiaries.
