PEP Welcomes Two New Members to the Board of Directors

Join us in welcoming two new members to our PEP Board of Directors – Danette Richards and Lesleigh Smith.

Danette Richards is Sr. Director of Small Business Development at the Mobile Chamber, supporting local businesses through consulting, training, and development programs. A former director of the Women’s Business Center, she brings broad experience across corporate, small business, and entrepreneurial sectors. Danette serves on several business boards, including the Alabama Microenterprise Network and the Alabama Small Business Development Center Network, and is a graduate of Leadership Mobile.

Lesleigh Smith is Director of Workforce Development for Performance Contractors, focusing on connecting students to careers in construction. With 30 years in the industry, she serves on multiple workforce and education boards across the region, including Southwest Alabama Workforce Development Council, Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Employment, Central Gulf Industrial Alliance, and the Baldwin County Education Coalition.
