Partners for Environmental Progress Celebrates 25 Years of Advancing Sustainable Industry Practices 

Mobile, AL – April 1, 2025 – Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) proudly marks its 25th anniversary in 2025, celebrating a quarter-century of championing environmental sustainability and responsible industry practices along the Gulf Coast. Since its founding, PEP has been at the forefront of fostering collaboration between businesses, industries, and the community to drive meaningful environmental progress. 

Throughout 2025, PEP will share a special series of communications reflecting on its journey—where the organization started, the current progress, and the vision for the future. PEP will feature highlights of its founding members and showcase the achievements of industries dedicated to environmental stewardship along with future initiatives that will continue shaping a more sustainable region. 

“As we celebrate 25 years, we honor the businesses and leaders who have demonstrated that economic growth and environmental responsibility go hand in hand,” said Jennifer Denson, Executive Director. “This milestone is an opportunity to reflect on our collective impact and renew our commitment to advancing sustainable industry practices for the next generation.” 

The 25th anniversary celebration will culminate in conjunction with PEP’s Annual Awards Banquet, where members and community leaders come together to recognize the outstanding efforts of companies that have made significant contributions to environmental progress. This special event, set for September 25th and aptly named “PEPtember,” will celebrate past achievements while paving the way for a new era of innovation and sustainability in the Gulf Coast region. 

PEP invites all members, partners, and the broader community to join in this year-long celebration and engage in the dialogue that will shape the next 25 years of environmental excellence.
