Goodwyn Mills Cawood – Charging Into The Future!

Electric aviation is becoming a reality in Alabama as the new electric aircraft charger, manufactured by BETA TECHNOLOGIES, was officially unveiled at Montgomery Regional Airport – MGM this month.

The first of its kind in the state, the aircraft charging station marks a monumental step in bringing sustainable aviation to the region. They allow for quick recharges for a variety of electric aircraft, ensuring both efficiency and the reduction of carbon emissions.

In addition to being MGM’s airport planning and engineering consultant, PEP member Goodwyn Mills Cawood served as the electrical engineer for the project.
